Summer Lunch at the Garden is a free program for the Camden Avenue community hosted at the Camden Community Garden. On weekdays throughout the summer, volunteers from the Corner Church Collective supervise planned activities for the kids of Camden Avenue and serve lunch for those in attendance. The activity begins at 11:15 and lunch is served around 11:45.
This year, the lunches will be generously donated by Olde Towne Deli (in downtown Salisbury) and the Sysco Corporation.
Summer Lunch at the Garden is led by Suzi Peterson, one of the members of TRP’s leadership team. Building on the momentum from last year and the community involvement, she and her crew of volunteers have planned fun, weekly themes for the kids, such as “under the sea,” “around the world,” “mad scientist,” and “zoo” weeks.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Suzi Peterson or sign up here (to help supervise activities) or here (to help deliver the lunches).
